Employee Code of Conduct
1. Scope
This Code applies to every director, employee, contractor, intern and secondee of Fortune Imports and Exports (India), operating as Fortune Sourcings, worldwide. It is a condition of continued employment or engagement.
2. Client-first conduct
Fortune personnel shall serve every client with honesty, timeliness, competence and discretion. Personal opinions of a client or client project shall never be shared outside the engagement. Every commitment made to a client — timelines, prices, availability — shall be recorded in Fortune OS.
3. Confidentiality
Client BOQs, pricing, vendor lists, quotation strategies, negotiation memos and internal analytics are strictly confidential and shall not be shared with any external party or discussed in any public forum, including social media, without prior written approval from the CEO.
4. Conflicts of interest
Personnel shall promptly disclose in writing any personal, family or financial interest in a supplier, freight forwarder, customs broker, competitor or client that could reasonably influence business judgement. Undisclosed side-consulting, side-supply, or personal orders through Fortune's vendor network are prohibited.
5. Anti-corruption
Personnel shall comply strictly with the Anti-Corruption & Anti-Bribery Policy. No gift, hospitality or advantage above USD 100 in value may be accepted from a supplier, client, freight forwarder or government official without written approval.
6. Fortune OS discipline
Every material client interaction — quotation, negotiation, promise, follow-up, ledger entry — is to be logged in Fortune OS the same day. Working outside Fortune OS (side-spreadsheets, personal notebooks, WhatsApp-only records) is prohibited because it fragments accountability and hides risk.
7. Anti-circumvention
Personnel shall not, during or after their engagement with Fortune Sourcings, solicit any Fortune-introduced supplier, client or vendor for their own benefit or for the benefit of a competitor, for the duration of the confidentiality obligation set out in the employment contract.
8. Whistleblowing
Any suspected breach of policy or law may be reported in confidence to whistleblower@fortunesourcings.com. Good-faith reports are protected from retaliation. Where the reporter prefers to speak to leadership directly, they may email the CEO.
9. Consequences
Breach of this Code may result in disciplinary action up to and including summary dismissal, referral to law-enforcement authorities, forfeiture of any incentive payment, and recovery of any resulting loss.
