Shipping & Logistics Policy
1. Overview
Fortune Sourcings handles end-to-end international logistics for sourcing projects, including furniture, décor, lighting, and interiors from China. This policy explains how shipping, customs, delivery, and insurance are managed.
2. Shipping & Delivery Process

Total Duration: ~45–90 days, depending on shipping method and order volume.
3. Shipping Modes

4. Costs & Responsibilities
- Service Charge: Fortune Sourcings charges 5% on total invoice value (inclusive of shipping coordination).
- Shipping Costs: As Per Actual.
- Client Responsibilities: Customs duties, taxes, and local port fees.
- Fortune Responsibilities: Shipping coordination, QC inspection, insurance and delivery scheduling.
5. Tracking & Communication
- Clients receive Bill of Lading / Airway Bill, container/tracking number, and estimated delivery dates.
- Weekly updates are provided until goods reach the doorstep.
6. Insurance
- Insurance is included under CIF/DDP shipments.
- EXW/FOB clients are advised to purchase independent insurance.
- Coverage includes loss, theft, or major damage during transit.
7. Force Majeure
Fortune Sourcings is not liable for delays caused by:
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions or strikes
- Port congestion or transport disruptions
- Political unrest or pandemics
Revised timelines will be communicated in such cases.
8. Delivery Confirmation
Delivery is complete when:
- Goods arrive at the agreed address, and
- The client or authorized recipient signs acknowledgment.
9. Warehouse & Storage
Temporary storage is available (China/India) at client cost if site readiness is delayed. Charges are CBM-based and time-dependent.
