Supplier Code of Conduct
1. Purpose
This Code sets out the minimum ethical, labour, environmental and compliance standards that every factory, trader, sub-contractor and service provider ("Supplier") in Fortune Sourcings' network is required to meet. It is a condition of continued engagement with us.
2. Labour & human rights
Suppliers shall: (a) not use forced, bonded, indentured or involuntary prison labour; (b) not employ any person under the legal minimum working age of the jurisdiction, and in no event below 15 years; (c) pay wages that comply with the applicable minimum-wage law and provide statutory overtime; (d) respect freedom of association and collective bargaining where permitted by law; (e) provide a workplace free from harassment, physical abuse or intimidation.
3. Health & safety
Suppliers shall provide a clean, safe and hygienic workplace, including adequate ventilation, lighting, fire-safety equipment, marked emergency exits, personal protective equipment for hazardous roles, and access to potable water and sanitary facilities. Machinery shall be guarded and workers appropriately trained.
4. Environmental compliance
Suppliers shall comply with all applicable environmental laws, including permits for air emissions, waste-water discharge, solid-waste disposal and hazardous-substance handling. Suppliers are expected to progressively adopt cleaner production methods and reduce resource intensity year-on-year.
5. Anti-corruption
Suppliers shall not offer, promise, give, request or accept any bribe, kickback or improper advantage to or from any Fortune Sourcings personnel, client, government official or other party. This obligation is unqualified and worldwide, in line with our Anti-Corruption & Anti-Bribery Policy.
6. Confidentiality & IP
Suppliers shall keep confidential all client BOQs, drawings, samples, pricing and commercial terms disclosed by Fortune Sourcings, and shall not reproduce or resell client-designed products to any third party. Any tooling paid for by a client remains that client's property.
7. Sub-contracting
Suppliers shall not sub-contract any part of a Fortune order to another factory without Fortune Sourcings' prior written consent. Where consent is granted, the sub-contractor must comply with this Code, and the primary Supplier remains responsible for its performance.
8. Audit & termination
Suppliers grant Fortune Sourcings, or its nominated third-party auditor, the right to inspect their premises with reasonable notice to verify compliance with this Code. Repeated or material breach entitles Fortune Sourcings to suspend or terminate the engagement immediately and to recover any resulting loss.
9. Reporting
Any factory worker or third party who wishes to report a breach of this Code may do so confidentially to whistleblower@fortunesourcings.com. Retaliation against a good-faith reporter is grounds for immediate termination of the Supplier engagement.
